The 1983 Yamaha Virago XV500 is a bastard child of Yamaha. They only produced one year of these gems before tossing them for the Harley inspired 535 Virago. Our studio is a rescue shelter for lost 500’s, the baby V that almost never was. They have the quality soft tails and frame design of the larger Viragos, but without the mechanical gremlins. The smooth shaft drive and modern suspension components coupled with some fueling and exhaust improvements make this machine a self-titled hit.
